After a day of cleaning…today was a cooking day. With a few of Amanda’s friends coming over tomorrow, I spent the day preparing sweet and savoury dishes.
It was a great opportunity to use my new mixer again. This photo shows the whisk working superbly to make the eggs light and fluffy.
I decided to try a multicolored layered birthday. The cakes worked out great…though I’m leaving the icing until tomorrow.
