The Seven P’s are a well known mantra for successful people…
I know it…yet for some reason there always seems to be more ‘last minute’ things to do than I expect when planning an event.
Thankfully though I have managed to make it to bed before midnight with all but one thing finished for tomorrow…thanks in no small part to David’s willingness to do whatever I think of while I’m busy doing something else. All I have to do is mention something out loud, often just repeating a thought to myself….and before I know it, David has taken care of it.
Today was always going to be a big day…but by working together we got through it well and even managed to get Amanda to her social on time…and picked her up afterward too!
Plenty of prior preparation and planning have gone into organising everything for tomorrow….but the proof will be in the pudding (or in this case, cake pops)…to determine if it was enough to prevent poor performance!
This was my first try at decorating cake pops…and only the third time making them…maybe it wasn’t the best day to choose to learn something new…but I am glad I did!!
