After a great nights sleep and a leisurely breakfast we jumped in a tuk tuk to head out and see a few of the iconic places in Phnom Penh.
Independence Monument
Park
Royal Palace
Silver Pagoda
House of the Elephants
Along the river side where Tonle Sap River meets the Mekong
Wat Phnom
Lunch at Mekong Restaurant
Central Market

Dinner at Mama Wong’s
????? Great experience at Mama Wong’s on Rue 308 in Phnom Penh…tucked away in this little side street the restaurant is buzzing with happy staff. We were able to watch them in the open kitchen, pinching dumplings and pulling noodles. We had the Prawn dumplings steamed; the Pork dumplings pot stickered; the pulled noodle soup with chicken (enormous); the Kung Pow Chicken (fantastic flavour) and the Crispy Pork Ribs with Garlic (best ribs ever)…watch out for the chillies, they are intense!
