I have no idea about the real origins of Mother’s Day…was it really a greeting card company that came up with the idea to boost sales between Easter and Christmas…or is it a tradition that has been happening since ancient times to help meet the commandment to honour thy mother.
Either way it is nice to be recognised as a Mum on this special Sunday each year!
This morning I have been treated to a delicious breakfast of crepes, as well as receiving these lovely gifts including a handmade card and an email advising I am now subscribed to Gardening Australia magazine for the next year!
