Hooray!!! I have finally managed to grow straight carrots!!!
Today is the first day of a short enforced holiday from work. I love holidays so I am not really complaining about ‘having’ to take some annual leave, though I am always concerned about wasting the time off when I don’t have a trip planned.
I have a few things that I want to get done around the house though, so it is good to have these 10 days off in a row.
I’m in week 7 of a 12 week programme at the gym. I will definitely be getting up early each morning and going in for my workouts over the holidays. It makes me feel great to have that energetic start to the day and ensures that half the morning isn’t wasted laying around in bed. Since the beginning of the year I’ve reduced my weight by just over 11kg!
The most significant part of my plan is management of food consumption. It isn’t a diet, but rather a change of lifestyle based on a better understanding of what is good for me and what makes me feel blah…it gets that little bit easier each week as I am not having to think about it so much. The best choice is starting to become more obvious, it is natural!
So today I’ve been to the gym, spent an hour working on my french vocab (I started french lessons this term) and am now out enjoying the beautiful sunshine in my garden which is in need of some tlc!
