Anyone who knows me well knows that I am not a romantic person…but that doesn’t mean I don’t like the idea of romance and it also doesn’t mean I don’t like being spoiled!
This year sees the fourth Valentine’s Day that David and I have spent together…and once again he put thought into how to make it special for me! I on the other hand was my usual self and didn’t buy him anything…
Now it just so happened that this year the school music camp fell on the Valentines weekend, so Amanda left on the bus from school during the day on Friday, scheduled to return on the Monday afternoon…good work school!
So, after work David and I headed down to Cabarita Beach for a relaxing weekend….though to my surprise he had also bought me a lovely bunch of flowers that we hardy enough to come with us!
I couldn’t go on without contributing something towards the romantic expectations of the day…so on the way to the coast we stopped off for a nice little dinner at Salsa at Robina.
It may be a completely over-commercialised day…but it is still very nice to be in a relationship where you can use it as an excuse to show you care.
